Emotions need to be listened to.  They are your subconscious mind’s way of telling you something, something about your life that you should pay closer attention to.  Being aware of your emotions and starting to look for the messages underlying them, learning from them, can really help you begin to understand the more uncomfortable emotions you may be dealing with such as fear, guilt, sadness or anger.

People who ignore their emotions and try to bury themselves in work or use alcohol, food or drugs to blot them out can end up in particularly difficult places as the feelings can grow more and more intense and lead to depression, violence or illness.  We can help you learn to understand and deal with emotions which you find uncomfortable and help you become more in control.
